Chances are if you are visiting our website and reading this, you have either been personally affected by cancer or know of someone dear to you who have been affected by this terrible disease.

 

Did you know that 1 in 2 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer and that Cancer is the leading cause of death in Canada?  Great progress has been made so far in the fight against cancer, but there is more that must be done. The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation offers real HOPE!

 

As Canadians, we are very fortunate to have a world-leading cancer research centre with the ambition and expertise to conquer cancer in our lifetime.  The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (PMCC) is Canada’s top cancer research centre and one of the top five cancer research centres in the world.  The PMCC is committed to transforming cancer care through research and clinical innovations that set new standards of care for Canada and the world.

 

Through ongoing research, education and innovation, PMCC continue to be on the frontiers of medical, surgical and radiation oncology, embracing the latest technology and international best practices and setting standards for patient care. The quality of research being done at The Princess Margaret is second to none in Canada.

As an individual who has watched his wife battle cancer, our annual Retro Gala, presented by Platinum Entertainment Solutions, is our way of giving back to the hospital and letting everyone who has been affected by this terrible disease BELIEVE there is HOPE and that we will Conquer Cancer in our Lifetime!

 

The hospital’s vision keeps us focused, motivated and inspired but this battle cannot be fought alone.
